Walkthrough
How it works
Five steps from handshake to release — with a licensed escrow partner holding the funds.
Set clear terms
Both parties describe the item or service, the amount, the due date, and what counts as delivery. Terms are visible to both sides before any money moves.
Money enters escrow
The buyer funds the escrow. Money is held by a licensed escrow partner, [Licensed partner name], in a segregated account — not on Mapeico's books.
Do the work, show the proof
The seller delivers and marks the milestone complete. Files, tracking numbers, and messages stay attached to the escrow record.
Confirm and release
The buyer confirms receipt. Released funds go to the seller, milestone by milestone or all at once.
Open a dispute
If something goes wrong, either party can open a dispute. Funds stay held while a human reviewer looks at the evidence.
Prototype note
This is a front-end prototype. No funds move, no partner is engaged, and forms are
not submitted anywhere. In production, funds are held by a licensed escrow partner.
